Delphoria’s® Foundation
A Message from Our Founder & President
Hello, and welcome - we hope this message finds you well!
I'm Samantha ("Sam") Healy, Founder of Delphoria Systems, LLC and President of both Delphoria Legal Intelligence and Delphoria Learning, LLCs.
I grew up in an Irish Catholic family of six in the Washington, D.C. area, where I was taught that integrity matters, your word means something, and helping people should always come before personal gain. Those values continue to guide how I engage with clients, build businesses, and serve clients today.
I now proudly call Philadelphia home, where my growing family lives in the Northeast section of the city.
After earning my law degree and passing the Maryland Bar, I began my career in eDiscovery as a project manager in Charlotte, North Carolina. What started as a fascination with legal technology evolved into nearly two decades spent at the intersection of law, technology, data, and business operations.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work across nearly every corner of the legal technology ecosystem—from high-volume litigation support and vendor operations to enterprise engineering initiatives within Apple Legal Operations, modernization efforts supporting the U.S. Department of Justice, and inside Am Law 50 firms handling engagement pricing negotiations and overseeing a team that supported nationally significant matters.
Those experiences provided something that is increasingly difficult to find: an independent, vendor-neutral perspective.
I've worked alongside software developers, attorneys, legal operations teams, corporate legal departments, government agencies, and technology vendors. I've seen exceptional technology transform legal work—and I've also seen organizations invest significant resources in software that never addressed the real operational challenge.
That experience taught me one lesson I carry into every engagement:
Technology doesn't create better legal operations. Better decisions do.
I founded Delphoria because I believe organizations deserve independent guidance that puts their interests first. We provide context-based/sliding scale pricing because we believe access to justice is critical to our judicial system.
Today's legal teams are navigating cloud migrations, artificial intelligence, evolving pricing models, cybersecurity concerns, remote collaboration, and rapidly changing vendor landscapes. These decisions affect far more than software—they influence cost, defensibility, efficiency, governance, and ultimately, the quality of legal services delivered.
Delphoria was built to help organizations make those decisions with clarity and confidence.
Our approach is intentionally different.
Independent, vendor-agnostic recommendations
No reseller incentives, markups, or pass-through pricing (If offered one, we pass it through to you).
Defensible, scalable workflows built around operational realities
Ethical collaboration grounded in transparency and trust
Flexible engagement models designed to improve accessibility for organizations of all sizes
Whether we're evaluating technology, negotiating vendor relationships, improving workflows, preparing organizations for AI adoption, or helping legal professionals navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape, our mission remains the same:
To make legal technology work for people—not the other way around.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Delphoria. We sincerely appreciate your interest, and hope to have the opportunity to earn your trust.
Warmly,
Sam Healy, Esq.
